Zamalek Closes Sale File and Insists on Keeping Bezera and Hossam Abdel Meguid

The officials of Zamalek Club have finalized their decision regarding the sale of the duo Juan Bezira and Hossam Abdel Meguid, players of the first football team, during the upcoming winter transfer window, amid ongoing debate about the possibility of letting go of some key players to overcome the financial crisis the club is facing.

According to the website "Youm7," the proposal to sell the duo next January is not well received within the board of directors of the White Castle, despite the current financial pressures, as the management believes that this option could negatively affect the team's technical stability.

The report explained that the reason for rejecting the sale of Bezera and Hossam Abdel Meguid is the Zamalek management's desire to compete strongly in all tournaments during the current season and not to weaken the team's lineup by losing key players in the starting lineup.

Earlier press reports indicated an intention to sell the duo in order to generate significant financial returns that would help resolve the financial crisis and lift the transfer ban. However, Zamalek's management preferred to maintain the core of the team and postpone any decisions related to selling at this time.
