Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Vitinha appeared in a press statement following their victory in the Confederations Cup, winning on penalties against Flamengo after a 1-1 draw in regular and extra time.

He began his remarks about the team's goalkeeper who excelled in the penalty shootout: "Safonov is great, unbelievable!"

He added: "It's an incredible feeling. It was a very important final match, and we won it. It was tough, and we put in a lot of effort, that's all there is to it. We are very happy."
