Final Status of Kanno and Al-Hawsawi Before the Saudi Arabia vs UAE Clash
On Wednesday evening, the Saudi national team revealed the latest medical updates regarding the injuries of Mohammed Kanno, midfielder for Al-Hilal, and Murad Al-Hawsawi, defender for Al-Khaleej, ahead of the match against the UAE.
The medical team explained that Mohamed Kanno missed the group training sessions due to experiencing pain in his ankle joint, which required him to undergo medical follow-up.
In the same context, the MRI scan undergone by Murad Al-Hawsawi revealed an injury in the thigh area, without an official determination of the duration of his absence.
The Saudi national team completed their preparations for the match against the UAE with a training session held at the Aspire facilities, under the guidance of French head coach Hervé Renard.
The training began with exercises in various technical drills, followed by a scrimmage on half of the field, and concluded with practicing set pieces.
The Saudi national team will face their UAE counterparts tomorrow evening, Thursday, at Khalifa International Stadium, in the match to determine third and fourth place in the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025.
The match between Saudi Arabia and the UAE will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 2:00 PM Mecca time and 1:00 PM Cairo time.
