Al Ahly Club is intensifying its efforts during the current period to sign three foreign players in the upcoming January transfer window, as part of the management's plan to strengthen the first football team's squad and enhance its chances of competing for local and continental championships.

According to the program "Number One," Ivorian striker Ibrahima Diabaté, who plays for the Swedish club GAIS, is now about 80% close to joining Al Ahly. The Swedish club has requested $3 million to approve the player's transfer, while Al Ahly has increased its offer to $2.5 million. Negotiations between the two parties are still ongoing to reach a final agreement.

In the same context, Moroccan left-back Youssef Belammri of Raja Casablanca is undergoing a medical examination in his home country, which he will complete in Cairo after finalizing the official agreement with Al Ahly. The deal, valued at $650,000, is expected to be announced in the near future.

Al Ahly has made a substantial financial offer to sign the Palestinian player Hamed Hamdan, a midfielder for Petrojet, in an attempt to finalize the deal before other clubs enter the negotiations.

Petrojet Club is expected to hold a meeting with the player to finalize his decision regarding the transfer, with the possibility of completing the deal as a swap, for 25 million pounds plus a player loaned from Al Ahly, who may be Ahmed Reda.
