Egyptian attacker Hamza Abdel Karim wishes to join Barcelona during the upcoming winter transfer window, according to the Spanish newspaper "Sport." This follows official interest from the Catalan club in acquiring the player on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.

The newspaper explained that Abdel Karim informed Al-Ahli’s management of his desire to facilitate his departure, considering the opportunity to join Barcelona as a rare chance. He views the Catalan club’s sports project as the ideal option for building a successful professional career. He also expressed his willingness to accept the offer even if it is not financially attractive, which is a sensitive matter given that he is a product of the club’s youth system and has a promising future.
