Zamalek Reveals Its Position on October Land in Official Statement
The Board of Directors of Zamalek Club issued an official statement today, Tuesday, regarding the latest developments in the 6th of October land case.
The Zamalek statement said: "The Board of Directors of Zamalek Club affirms its full confidence in all Egyptian state institutions and the serious and responsible measures they take to preserve the country’s longstanding national entities, foremost among them Zamalek Sporting Club, safeguard public funds, and protect the nation’s resources and sporting heritage, all within the framework of the rule of law and the complementary roles of state institutions in fulfilling their responsibilities."
The statement continued: "Zamalek Club emphasizes its full confidence in the measures being taken by the state aimed at preserving this great sports institution and promoting the public interest. It expresses its certainty in the state's constant keenness to support the stability of national sports institutions and to back them with the most appropriate solutions and proposals that ensure the club's continued fulfillment of its mission."
Zamalek's statement concluded: "The Board of Directors expresses its deep appreciation and respect for the esteemed Public Prosecution's ongoing investigations and the legal measures it is taking. The Board affirms its full confidence in the integrity and impartiality of the investigative authorities and their commitment to uncovering the truth within a framework of transparency and the rule of law. The Board is fully committed to cooperating with the relevant investigative bodies and providing any requested documents, data, or testimonies to support the course of the investigations."
The statement concluded: "The Board of Directors of Zamalek Club reassures its loyal fans and general assembly that the board, in full cooperation and coordination with all relevant state institutions, trusts in the state's support for the club, its members, and its fans, and in providing all solutions that help it continue its mission as a prestigious Egyptian sports institution. It reiterates its full confidence and respect for all state institutions responsible for upholding the law and safeguarding public funds."
