Fiery Statements from Jurcic, Pyramids Coach
Monday 22-12-2025
Croatian coach Krunoslav Jurcic of Pyramids confirmed that he feels sad about losing the league title in the 2024-2025 season.

Jurcic said on "On Sport" radio: "There are those who do not accept competing with Al Ahly and Zamalek. The media should support teams like Al Masry Port Said, Pyramids, Ghazl El Mahalla, and Ismaily, not just two teams."

He added: "I feel sad about losing the league title last season. It's like traffic lights—when the light turns red, everyone must stop. Some clubs go through despite the stop signal. Everyone must adhere to the rules, and I am not referring to Al Ahly; my words are clear."

He continued: "There are issues in Egyptian refereeing, like our match against Petrojet, which convince me that we will not win the league title."

He explained: "I spoke with the Pyramids management to support the team with new signings. We need a defender and a playmaker. Everton needs time to adapt, and the return of Mostafa Fathi is important for us."

He concluded: "The Pyramids management has not spoken to me about my future, but I have not negotiated with anyone else."
