Paris Saint-Germain Ordered to Pay 61 Million Euros to Mbappé
Tuesday 16-12-2025
The Labor Court Council issued its final ruling in the legal dispute between Paris Saint-Germain and its former star Kylian Mbappé, ordering the Parisian club to pay the player approximately 61 million euros.

Kylian Mbappé, the current Real Madrid player, left Paris Saint-Germain in 2024 and demanded 55 million euros in unpaid salaries and bonuses. In response, the club refused to meet his demands, arguing that the player had breached a previous agreement not to leave on a free transfer.

The case witnessed a lengthy legal battle, with Paris Saint-Germain demanding compensation of up to 440 million euros, while Mbappé's team responded by requesting the reclassification of his contract as an indefinite-term contract, in addition to seeking substantial financial compensation due to unjustified termination and breach of contract.

According to reports from "RMC Sport," the court rejected all of Paris Saint-Germain's demands and ordered the payment to be made in favor of Mbappé. Additionally, the club was required to publish the full ruling for one month on the homepage of its official website.

Paris Saint-Germain has the right to appeal the ruling within the upcoming legal period.
