The Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" revealed that Al-Ahli's management has officially ended its relationship with the Greek doctor and has simultaneously begun searching for a foreign candidate to take on the medical role in the upcoming period.
The same newspaper confirmed that the decision for the head of the medical staff to leave was final, made by the club officials, and Dimitris was officially informed with no intention of reversing the decision.
Al Ahly's management is currently discussing with the Greek doctor the mechanism for settling the remaining financial dues, in preparation for legally terminating the contract in a way that preserves the rights of both parties.
Al-Ahli Jeddah's management has opened negotiations with several candidates to succeed Dimitris, including a doctor currently working within the Saudi Roshn League system.
