Foden Reveals the Key to Victory Over Crystal Palace
Manchester City star Phil Foden appeared in press statements after the 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace in the sixteenth round of the Premier League.
Foden said, "It was a very tough match. We know their style of play well. They make things difficult, are good at positioning, and have outstanding players in counterattacks. In the first half, we were just trying to understand their approach. In the second half, we started applying more pressure on them, and in the end, we secured the win."
He added: "Patience is the most important thing. I think we may have tried to attack too quickly. In the second half, our performance was much better. That was the key to winning today. We controlled the flow of the game more and passed the ball more, and that is City's style. It’s a fully collective team performance."
He concluded: "I am very happy. I have been at the top of my game in the English Premier League recently, and I am pleased to continue this form (scoring)."
