Moroccan coach Hussein Amouta is close to taking over the technical leadership of one of the Gulf national teams, according to what has been circulated in recent hours, awaiting the official announcement from the concerned authority.
According to the same sources, negotiations between both parties have reached advanced stages, with a preliminary agreement for Amouta to lead the team during the upcoming phase, with the 2026 Gulf Cup tournament being his first official commitment with the team.
The Gulf national team’s move to contract Amouta comes due to his extensive coaching experience, most notably with the Jordanian national team.
