Jurčić Comments on Pyramids' Loss to Flamengo in the Intercontinental Cup
Croatian coach Krunoslav Jurčić, head coach of the Pyramids team, commented on the loss they suffered against the Brazilian team Flamengo in the Challenge Cup match as part of the Intercontinental Cup tournament.
Jurčić said in statements on the "beIN Sports News" channel: "We played a good match; we were facing a great team. They were excellent and very well organized."
He added: "Throughout the match, we tried to score goals and missed several opportunities, but they scored from set pieces, which is a normal occurrence in football."
Pyramids lost to Flamengo 2-0 in the semi-final match of the Intercontinental Cup, as the Blues failed to secure a spot in the final to face Paris Saint-Germain, the European champions.
