French coach Hervé Renard emphasized to the Saudi Falcons players the need to increase their effort and discipline after qualifying for the Arab Cup semifinals following their 2-1 victory over Palestine yesterday.

According to the Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadiyah, Renard held a meeting with the players on Friday afternoon, urging everyone to give their utmost effort, regardless of the identity of the upcoming opponent in the semifinal.

The Saudi national team is awaiting the winner of the match between Jordan and Iraq, scheduled to take place next Monday at Lusail Stadium, to determine their semifinal opponent.

Renard divided the players into two groups during today's training sessions. The group that played against Palestine performed recovery exercises at the hotel, while the substitute group trained on the Aspire fields on Friday afternoon.

The French coach aims to divide the two groups to maintain the physical and technical readiness of all players before the upcoming match.

The Saudi national team continues its intensive preparations to face its opponent in the semifinal, focusing on tactical strategy and refining offensive and defensive performance to ensure advancement to the final match.
