Zamalek Faces a New Crisis
Sports broadcaster Ahmed Shobeir, former Al Ahly star, revealed that Zamalek is facing a new crisis.
In a television interview, Shobeir said: "The Zamalek management wants the team to return to training at the club after they finished renovating and repairing the stadium. There is a disagreement between the club management and John Edward, the sporting director, because the latter insists on his decision."
He added: "Zamalek's management requested the team's return because the costs are very high, and it is difficult for the club's treasury to sustain the team at the Military College Stadium. The team must train at the club's own field."
He continued: "Zamalek pays more than one million pounds monthly for renting training fields. We'll see whether they reach an agreement or not."
