Postponement of the Tenth Round of the Roshn League Due to the Saudi National Team
The Saudi Professional League officially announced the postponement of the tenth round matches of the Roshn League for the 2025-26 season, in response to developments regarding the national team's participation in the Arab Cup.
The association clarified that the matches of the tenth round will be held on new dates, from February 22 to 25, 2026, instead of the previously scheduled period between December 19 and 21 of this year, in order to ensure the readiness of the clubs and to avoid conflicts with the national team's participation.
The postponement decision came as an extension of a previous circular issued by the association on November 25, 2025, which included the possibility of changing match dates if the Saudi national team reached the semifinals of the Arab Cup.
The Saudi national team successfully reached the semifinals after an exciting 2-1 victory over Palestine, in a match that extended into extra time following a 1-1 draw at the end of regular time.
Firas Al-Buraikan scored the opening goal for the Green Falcons from a penalty in the 58th minute, before Adi Dabbagh equalized for the Palestinians in the 64th minute, intensifying the excitement in the final moments of the match.
Mohammed Kanno snatched victory for the Green Falcons with a brilliant header in the 115th minute, leading his national team to the semifinals. As a result, the schedule for the tenth round of the Roshn League will be changed.
