Italian coach Simone Inzaghi has chosen replacements for the duo Yassine Bono and Kalidou Koulibaly, in preparation for the period they will be absent from Al Hilal due to their participation with the Morocco and Senegal national teams in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

The newspaper "Al-Youm" explained that Inzaghi has decided to rely on Matteo Pessina as the goalkeeper, making him the direct substitute for Bono during the upcoming continental tournament to be held in Morocco.

The Italian coach also appointed Turkish defender Yusuf Akçışık to lead the backline alongside Hassan Tembekti, in an effort to compensate for Koulibaly's absence and maintain the solidity of Al-Hilal's defense.

Al Hilal continues its preparations to face Al Taawoun in the tenth round of the Roshn Professional League, at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, in a match eagerly anticipated by the fans of both teams due to its direct competition for the top positions.

Enzagi is currently navigating a busy schedule with multiple commitments, which makes him keen on properly preparing the substitutes to ensure the team is not affected by the absence of key players.

Al Hilal occupies second place in the standings with 23 points, while Al Taawoun is in third place with 22 points, adding extra excitement to their upcoming match.
