The name of Hossam Abdel Majeed, Zamalek defender, has been linked to leaving the White team during the upcoming winter transfer window.

The player's contract with Zamalek extends until June 2027, and he has not renewed his contract with the club yet.

Sports journalist Hani Hethet revealed details of a private conversation he had with Hossam Abdel Majeed regarding his position on leaving Zamalek.

Hani Hethet said in statements during the program "Al Kalam Al Mazboot" on ON Sport radio: "I met Hossam Abdel Majeed along with Osama Faisal and Mahmoud Saber because they are from the same generation and together in the national team, and the meeting was by chance."

He added: "I asked him, what's the news and what are the rumors? He told me, my contract ends next season, not the current one, and I am staying at Zamalek normally and I will not leave except through Zamalek."

He continued: "I asked him if he is close to leaving? He said yes, I am close to leaving in the winter transfer period, which is in a few days in January."

He concluded: "What I learned is that there are available offers from Portugal and France, and there is almost an agreement that if he receives a good offer, he will be sold in January because the renewal file is difficult and Zamalek will not repeat the story of Zizo again."
