Zamalek Prepares to Sign 4 Deals in the Winter Transfer Window
Sports journalist Khaled Al-Ghandour revealed that Zamalek's management is preparing to sign four new players in the winter transfer window, provided they resolve the registration ban issue.
Al-Ghandour said in a television statement: "Zamalek intends to sign 4 new players during the upcoming winter transfer window, provided that the registration ban issue is resolved."
He continued: "The first deal will be for the Palestinian player Hamed Hamdan, who plays for Petrojet, to strengthen the midfield, especially since there is a preliminary agreement with the player's club to finalize the deal in January for 20 million pounds."
He added: "The second signing will be for the right-back position, and there is a desire to contract with Ahmed Eid, a player from Al-Masry, especially since his contract with his club ends at the end of the current season. If the deal is not completed, we will wait until the summer."
He continued: "The third deal will be signing a local defender after the Moroccan player Salah Mosaddeq terminated his contract with the club. There are several candidates, such as Hadi Riyad, a player from Petrojet, and Ahmed Tarek, a player from ZED."
He concluded: "The fourth signing will be a foreign player to replace Salah Mosadek, and there is consideration between a winger or a midfielder who can play both the number 8 and 10 positions."
