Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca appeared in a press statement following the 2-1 loss against Atalanta in the sixth round of the Champions League group stage.

The coach said in his speech: "In the first half, we were controlling the match, but after the goal we conceded, we lost a bit of control over the game. We play every two days, and maybe we seem to be struggling a little."

He added: "We just want to win as soon as possible. We tried to be more aggressive, and when we conceded the equalizer at 1-1, the dynamics of the match may have changed a bit."

He continued about João Pedro: "He is doing a good job, sometimes playing as a pure striker, and sometimes behind the striker."

He concluded about Chelsea's decline: "I always feel concerned. Two points in the last four matches is not what we expect, and we need to be better."
