Diang Appears in Al Ahly Training Before Enppi
Malian international Aliou Dieng, midfielder of Al Ahly's first football team, participated in the training session held this evening at the Nasr City branch stadium, as part of the team's preparations for the match against Enppi in the Egypt Capital Cup.
Diang's participation in the match against Enppi is expected to be determined according to the coaching staff's assessment, led by the Dane Jes Thorup. The player will head directly to join the Mali national team's camp after the match, in preparation for participating in the Africa Cup of Nations.
The training session also saw the regular participation of Ahmed Abdeen, Al Ahly's defender, in the group exercises. The session included various physical drills, along with practicing some tactical aspects, before coach Jes Thorup concluded the training with an intense scrimmage involving all the players.
In this context, Dr. Ahmed Gaballah, the team doctor, confirmed that Ahmed Abdeen participated normally in the training session after recovering from the pain he was experiencing in his calf muscle, making him ready to take part in the upcoming matches.
