The Confederation of African Football Supports Salah Ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations
The Confederation of African Football has been keen to support the Egyptian international star, Mohamed Salah, the winger of the English club Liverpool, ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations tournament scheduled to take place in Morocco.
This comes amid an ongoing crisis between Salah and Liverpool's management, as well as a tense relationship between the player and his Dutch coach Arne Slot, following his being benched in the last three Premier League matches, including the game against Leeds United.
Kaf wrote on his official account on the "X" platform: "The highest level will remain forever. See you at the Africa Cup of Nations."
Salah is scheduled to join the Egyptian national team camp on December 15, before heading to Morocco 48 hours prior to the start of the tournament.
Regarding Salah's future with Liverpool, journalist David Ornstein confirmed that the club's management supports Mohamed Salah staying until the end of his contract in summer 2027, with confidence that the disagreements between the player and coach Klopp can be resolved in the near future.
It is worth mentioning that Salah has participated in 19 matches for Liverpool across all competitions this season, during which he scored 5 goals and provided 3 assists.
