The Spanish capital Madrid is preparing for an important UEFA Champions League match between Real Madrid and Manchester City at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, scheduled to kick off on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 10:00 PM Egypt time.

More than 1,700 security personnel will oversee the match's security as part of an integrated security apparatus that includes members of the national police from rapid intervention units and mounted units, alongside intelligence teams and mobile units, in addition to the city police.

The security apparatus will also include members from civil protection, firefighters, security guards, and assistants, with their presence reinforced at metro stations surrounding the stadium to ensure the safety of fans and prevent any incidents.

An estimated 2,651 English fans are expected to attend the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, which has a capacity of 77,000 spectators. To facilitate the work of security agencies, they have emphasized the necessity for fans to arrive early to complete the required security screening procedures before the start of the match.

These measures come as part of intensive preparations to ensure the match is organized with the highest safety standards, especially given the importance of the game and its impact on the UEFA Champions League competitions.
