The position of Brazilian Fabinho Tavares at Al-Ittihad Club remains uncertain, as the management has yet to make a final decision regarding the renewal of his contract, which expires at the end of the current season, amid growing external interest in the player.

The newspaper "Al-Youm" revealed that there is a state of uncertainty surrounding Fabinho's future, as he has received several offers from foreign clubs, while Al-Ittihad is preparing to resolve the matter soon, either by renewing the player's contract or allowing him to leave on a free transfer.

Fabinho joined Al-Ittihad in the summer of 2023 from Liverpool on a three-year contract. He quickly integrated into the team and became one of the key pillars in the midfield.

The federation is currently continuing its training program at an external camp in Dubai, UAE, taking advantage of the international break period associated with the Saudi national team's participation in the Arab Cup.

During the training camp, the team will play two friendly matches against Palm City and Gulf Emirates on December 10 and 14, aiming to enhance the players' technical and physical readiness before the season resumes.

Al-Ittihad occupies seventh place in the Saudi Professional League standings with 14 points and is aiming to return to strong competition after the inconsistent performances it showed in the previous rounds.
