Haiti Coach Attends Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco to Follow Atlas Lions
Sebastien Mignier, the coach of the Haiti national team, announced that he will attend the Africa Cup of Nations tournament scheduled to take place in Morocco starting December 21, with the aim of closely following the Moroccan national team.
Minier said in a statement to the Afrikfoot website that he will spend about ten days in Morocco during the tournament, noting that he will take the opportunity to watch several matches of the "Atlas Lions."
This comes after the 2026 World Cup draw, in which the Moroccan national team was placed in Group C alongside Haiti, Brazil, and Scotland.
Morocco and Haiti are scheduled to meet in the third round of the group stage on June 24, 2026, starting at 6:00 PM US time.
