Sports journalist Khaled Al-Ghandour revealed that Al-Ahly has submitted its final offer to the player Ahmed Abdelkader to renew his contract with the club.

Al-Ghandour said on Facebook: "The financial offer presented by the management to renew Ahmed Abdelkader's contract does not exceed 17 million pounds per season. We are awaiting the player's final decision regarding the renewal in the coming days."

He continued: "Al-Ahly officials have concluded their negotiations regarding the financial terms, and the decision now rests with the player, whether to accept the offer or to consider other options before entering the free agency period of his contract."

He concluded: "Al-Ahly is keen to finalize the renewal file quickly, given the coaching staff's desire for the player to continue, while the final approval remains contingent on Abdelkader's response."
