The "Thmanyah" platform reported that Al-Ahli's management has compiled a shortlist of potential candidates for the winger position, but they have not yet finalized the player who will sign the contract and complete the deal.

The financial factor is the main determinant in completing the deal, with sporting director Roy Pedro responsible for overseeing the winter transfer market and ensuring the deal aligns with the club's budget.

Al Ahly needs a standout local winger to support the team, especially to compensate for the absence of Algerian Riyad Mahrez, who will be representing his national team in the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco during December and January.

The Roshn League matches are currently paused due to the Saudi national team's participation in the Arab Cup held in Qatar from December 1 to 18, giving the management time to consider winter signings.

Al-Ahli occupies fourth place in the Saudi League standings with 19 points after 9 rounds. The team hopes that the winter signings will strengthen its chances of competing for the top spot in the upcoming phase.
