Barcelona Receives a Strong Boost Ahead of Frankfurt Clash in the Champions League
The Spanish newspaper 'Sport' reported that FC Barcelona held their usual recovery session on Sunday morning after a hard-fought 5-3 victory over Real Betis at La Cartuja stadium, as part of the Spanish league. This session took place at the Joan Gamper Sports City, in preparation for the upcoming match against Eintracht Frankfurt on Tuesday at Spotify Camp Nou, within the sixth round of the group stage in the UEFA Champions League.
The training saw the recovery of Brazilian player Raphinha, who did not participate in the Betis match due to a minor muscle strain, as he trained normally with the group on Sunday.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Juan Garcia came off the team bus limping noticeably, but he remained in the gym to continue his recovery process, like the other starters. On the other hand, goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen trained normally and participated fully with the group.
Coach Hans Flick is scheduled to lead the team’s final training session on Monday at the sports city, as the last preparation before hosting the German team on Tuesday in the Champions League.
