Barcelona secured a significant 5-3 victory over Real Betis in the match held at La Cartuja Stadium as part of the 15th round of the Spanish League, strengthening the Catalan team's lead at the top of the standings and raising their points tally to 40, while Betis remained at 24 points in fifth place.

Real Betis opened the scoring early through Anthony in the 6th minute, before Barcelona quickly equalized in the 11th minute with a goal from Ferran Torres following a precise pass from Jules Koundé.

Just two minutes later, Torres added a second goal for Barca in the 13th minute after a perfect cross from Roni Bardhi.

Barcelona continued their attacking dominance as Roni Bardhi scored the third goal in the 31st minute, before Ferran Torres completed his hat-trick by netting the fourth goal in the 40th minute, confirming the Catalan team's control over the match.

In the second half, Lamine Yamal extended Barcelona's lead with the fifth goal from a penalty in the 59th minute, while Real Betis managed to score their second goal in the 85th minute through Diego Llorente, before Kocho Hernández succeeded in scoring the third goal for Betis in the 90th minute also from a penalty kick.
