El-Derandly Reveals Friendly Offer from America to Face Egypt Before the 2026 World Cup

Al-Darandali explained in media statements following the conclusion of the World Cup draw ceremony that the American team expressed its desire to face the Pharaohs in the upcoming period as part of both teams' preparations for the major global event.
The Vice President of the Football Association pointed out that there is a trend within the Egyptian Football Association to hold a training camp for the national team in the United States, with the aim of adapting to the host country's conditions for the World Cup, including the climate, stadiums, and accommodation system.
The draw placed the Egyptian national team in a moderately strong group that includes Belgium, Iran, and New Zealand. Meanwhile, the United States leads Group D alongside Paraguay and Australia, as well as the winner of the European playoff.
