Bentayek Terminates His Contract and Becomes the Third Moroccan to Leave
Moroccan Mahmoud Bentayek, the left-back of the first football team at Zamalek Club, decided to unilaterally terminate his contract with the White Castle due to not receiving his overdue financial dues during the past period.
Media personality Ibrahim Abdeljawad confirmed via his official account on the 'X' platform that Bentayek officially ended his contractual relationship with Zamalek after his financial demands were ignored and no solutions were reached to preserve his rights.
Mahmoud Bentayek became the third Moroccan player to leave Zamalek in the same manner, following the duo Salah Mosadak and Abdelhamid Maali, amid the severe financial crisis the club is suffering from, which has clearly affected the stability of the first team.
Currently, Zamalek is suffering from a registration ban due to accumulated financial cases, in addition to irregular payment of players' dues, which prompted Bentayek to send an official notice to the club administration to end his waiting period, relying on regulations that grant him the right to terminate the contract unilaterally.
