Mido Praises Al-Dawsari, Captain of the Saudi National Team
Ahmed Hossam Mido, former Zamalek star, praised Salem Al-Dawsari, the captain of the Saudi national team, for his outstanding performance against the Comoros Islands in the Arab Cup.
The Saudi national team secured a 3-1 victory over the Comoros Islands in the second round of the group stage of the Arab Cup, successfully advancing to the quarterfinals of the tournament.
Al-Dosari successfully created two goals and scored one during the match.
Mido said in a television statement: "The Saudi national team is full of outstanding players, but Salem Al-Dawsari is a legend by all standards, because of the level he showed in tonight's match."
He added: "Al-Dosari has excellent abilities; he is a goal-scoring player, skilled at navigating one-on-one situations, proficient in playing on the wing and cutting inside, a leader both on and off the field, in addition to taking set pieces."
Mido affirmed: "Having Al-Dawsari in the Saudi national team gives it great strength in all aspects," saying, "He is a legend in every sense of the word."
