Al Hilal Approaches the Recovery of Al-Yami Before the External Camp
Hamad Al-Yami, the right-back of Al-Hilal Saudi Club, has taken his first steps toward full recovery from the recent injury that kept him out of the team's recent matches.
The Saudi sports newspaper Al-Riyadiyah revealed that the player is noticeably recovering from the hamstring injury he sustained against Al-Najma during the eighth round of the Saudi Professional League.
On November 15th, Al-Hilal announced that Al-Yami would need 6 to 8 weeks to recover, but the improvement in his medical condition suggests he will return sooner than expected.
On the other hand, the Al Hilal team is preparing to travel to the Emirati city of Al Ain next Sunday to participate in an external training camp during the international break, which lasts until December 13. During this period, the team will face Bahrain's Muharraq in a friendly match.
The camp is supported by the Italian Simone Inzaghi, the coach of Al Hilal, who granted the players a seven-day rest period starting from November 30, in preparation for the upcoming phase of the season.
Al Hilal currently holds second place in the Saudi league with 23 points after 9 rounds, trailing the leader Al Nassr by 4 points. This makes the return of injured players before the competition resumes even more crucial.
