"Mundo Deportivo" highlights the great progress Hans Flick is making with Barcelona in La Liga, confirming that the image of his frustration after the Alavés match does not reflect the reality of his impressive numbers in the league, as the German coach achieves three wins every four matches, similar to what Pep Guardiola, Luis Enrique, and Tito Vilanova did.

The newspaper mentioned that Flick has played 52 league matches with Barcelona, achieving a win rate of 75%, after finishing the 2024/2025 season with 28 wins at 73%, then continued his superiority in the 2025/2026 season by recording 12 wins in 15 rounds at 80%. The numbers indicate that Flick's rate is only slightly behind Guardiola and Luis Enrique who recorded 76%, while Vilanova remains with the highest rate of 84% in his only season.

Mundo Deportivo added that Flick's current record places him among the top three Barcelona coaches of the 21st century, surpassing the rates of former stars such as Rijkaard at 58%, Van Gaal at 59%, and Rexach at 46%. As for the pre-century era, Cruyff recorded 60%, Venables 56%, and Helenio Herrera 68%.

The newspaper pointed out that Barcelona lost very few matches under Flick, as they fell in the 2024/2025 season to Real Sociedad 1-0, Leganés 1-0, and Atlético Madrid 2-1, then lost again to Villarreal 3-2 in May 2025 after securing the title. In the current season, the first defeats came against Sevilla 4-1, then Real Madrid 2-1.

The newspaper clarified that last season's results were worse after 15 rounds, as Barça suffered three early defeats against Osasuna, Real Sociedad, and Las Palmas, while the team this season shows a more stable and effective level under Flick's leadership.
