Hossam Abdel Meguid, defender of Zamalek Club, has specified his financial demands in order to agree to renew his contract, which expires at the end of the next season.

According to what was reported by the newspaper "Al-Watan," the player expressed his willingness to stay with the White Castle, provided he receives 20 million pounds annually.

Hossam Abdel Majeed also stipulated that the terms of the new contract include allowing him to pursue an international professional opportunity if a financial offer that meets his ambitions and those of Zamalek Club is received. The current management is considering this as part of its plan to retain the team's key players.

The newspaper confirmed that the player has given preliminary approval to renew his contract after completing his participation with the Egyptian national team in the Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled to begin on December 21 in Morocco. This comes amid interest from foreign clubs seeking to secure his services in the near future.

Media reports indicated that Zamalek is considering selling the player next January for $2 million, due to the financial crisis the club is experiencing.
