Al Ahly Players Delayed in Joining National Team Camp
Sports journalist Ahmed Shobeir revealed the delay in the arrival of Al Ahly players to the Egypt national team's camp in preparation for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Shobeir said on his radio program on "On Sport" that Al Ahly players will be delayed in joining the national team camp by 24 hours.
He added that the reason is to give the Red players a well-deserved rest after a series of consecutive matches, the last of which was against the Moroccan Royal Army in the African Champions League.
The Africa Cup of Nations tournament will be held from December 21st to January 18th.
