Zamalek Board Member Attacks Ferreira
Ahmed Suleiman, a board member of Zamalek Club, criticized the Belgian Yannick Ferreira, the former head coach of the team, over his recent statements about Zamalek.
Ferreira said in statements on the program "Al-Nazer": "I did not like the way I left Zamalek Club at all. I was not contacted directly; I found out about my dismissal from some journalists through WhatsApp messages, and I was expelled."
Ferreira also confirmed that he filed a complaint with FIFA due to not receiving his overdue payments.
In this regard, Ahmed Suleiman said on the program "Al-Laeeb" on MBC Masr: "Yannick Ferreira's statements are very bad, and he didn't mention the technical mistakes he made during his time at Zamalek Club. Everything he said is not true."
He added: "As long as there are negatives like this, as Yanni Ferreira said, why did he accept it, stay, and continue with Zamalek? He should have left. And then he didn’t explain why he stayed at Zamalek all that time."
He concluded: "The Zamalek board is supposed to summon John Edward to question him about what Yannick Ferreira said, and analyze everything the man mentioned."
