FC Barcelona continues to pursue the signing of the young Kosovan striker Visnik Asllani from the German club Hoffenheim, in preparation to replace the veteran Robert Lewandowski next season, according to a report by the Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo.

Oxlade-Chamberlain, 23 years old, has an affordable release clause ranging between 25 and 29 million euros that can be activated in the summer, making the deal an economically viable option for the Catalan club compared to other alternatives like Julián Álvarez. The player is also being monitored by both Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, while there are no indications that any Premier League clubs are interested in signing him.

Alsalani stated last October: "My biggest dream has always been to play for FC Barcelona."

Ursalani's contract with Hoffenheim extends until 2029. This season, he has scored 6 goals and provided 3 assists in 14 matches. Predictions in Germany suggest that March will be crucial in determining his future with the club and the possibility of a transfer to Barcelona next season.
