Al Ahly Approaches Renewal of Aliou Dieng's Contract

Al Ahly Club is close to finalizing the contract renewal of Malian midfielder Aliou Dieng, whose current contract expires at the end of this season, following significant progress in negotiations over the past few hours between both parties.

According to Al-Ahram newspaper, a meeting between Dieng and the football director Walid Salah El-Din resulted in a clear breakthrough, as the meeting witnessed a significant convergence of views regarding the terms of the new contract, bringing both parties closer to reaching a final agreement.

The newspaper explained that the full agreement has not yet been finalized, as some financial details and the contract duration are still under discussion. However, the atmosphere is very positive and suggests that the renewal could be announced soon.

The newspaper confirmed that Al Ahly's management has entrusted Walid Salahuddin with the responsibility of finalizing the contract renewal for Dieng, considering him one of the key pillars in the team's lineup, and the club is keen to keep him as part of its core squad.
