Al Ahly Moves to Contain Afsha's Anger

Walid Salah El-Din, the football director of Al Ahly Club, has decided to hold a private meeting with player Mohamed Magdy Afsha immediately after his participation with the Egyptian national team in the Arab Cup in Qatar. This is an attempt to address his frustration over his frequent absence from the starting lineup during the current season.

According to what was reported by Youm7 website, Afsha feels dissatisfied due to his continuous exclusion from coach Jes Thorup's plans, which prompted the sporting director to step in to calm the situation and explain the coaching staff's vision for the player in the upcoming phase.

The report denied that any official offers have been made to sign Afsha recently, noting that the matter has not gone beyond informal talks by some agents without any concrete steps from the interested clubs.

The same source confirmed that Torop is keen to keep all the players on the team, including Afsha, as the coach is still in the process of evaluating and discovering their potential.

However, the report clarified that Al-Ahli's management will consider any official offer received in January and may agree to the player's departure if he insists on leaving, despite the club and coaching staff's desire for him to stay.
