Ahead of the highly anticipated Bahrain match tomorrow, Wednesday, at Stadium 974, Iraqi national team star Marco Faraj sent a clear message to the Iraqi fans, confirming the readiness of the Lions of Mesopotamia to start the journey strongly in the 2025 Arab Cup.

Marco said: "The official and final training session was very good and intense, and it was important for me because I was not with the group in yesterday's training, and today was the first time I trained with the team in preparation for tomorrow's match."

He added: "Today I underwent a double and intense training session to reach the best readiness, and our goal is clear, which is that we want to offer three points as a gift to the Iraqi fans who came to Doha to support us, and this gives us great motivation before the match."

He continued: "We aspire to continue working professionally and to show our true capabilities for as long as possible until next March, when we will play the World Cup 2026 global playoff, which is the most important match for Iraqi football in nearly 40 years."

He added: "Our biggest goal is to snatch the qualification ticket to the World Cup, and this is a dream we work on daily with high focus."
