Inter Milan targets signing Atalanta star
Sunday 21-12-2025
The website "Fichajes" reported that Inter Milan has reinstated Ederson, Atalanta's midfielder, to the top of its priorities in the winter transfer market.

The Brazilian player is going through a tense period following his agent's statements suggesting a possible departure from Bergamo, which has brought the Italian club back into negotiations after more than a year of continuous monitoring.

According to the website, Inter previously attempted to sign Ederson, but Atalanta's financial demands and the team's midfield stability hindered the deal. However, with the price dropping to around 35-40 million euros compared to the previous amount of 65-70 million, the player has become a viable option to strengthen the midfield, especially given the possibility of Frattesi leaving in January.

The report indicates that there is widespread competition for the player, with Saudi clubs like Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal showing great interest, while major clubs in Italy and beyond, such as Juventus, Napoli, Barcelona, and Manchester United, are also monitoring him. However, Inter has the advantage of having followed the deal for a long time and having direct knowledge of the player's preferences.

Ederson is distinguished by his ability to play at a high tempo, move all over the pitch, and contribute to both offensive and defensive transitions, making him well-suited to Inter's style of play. The club's coaching staff confirms that his addition will add depth and tactical balance to the team and help enhance performance both domestically and in Europe.

The report confirmed that Inter's management understands the importance of moving quickly to complete the deal, especially since the player's contract with Atalanta runs until 2027, which could pressure the Italian club to accept the sale. Thus, Ederson's name remains strongly present on the winter transfer market agenda.
