CAF Condemns Violations in Royal Army vs Al Ahly Match and Refers Case to Disciplinary Committee
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) strongly condemned what it described as "serious violations of safety and security regulations" that accompanied the match between Morocco's Royal Army team and Egypt's Al Ahly, which took place last Friday at the Moulay Hassan Stadium in Rabat and ended in a 1-1 draw.
The continental body explained in an official statement that the incidents recorded during the match have been referred to the Disciplinary Committee to conduct a thorough investigation and make a decision on the matters in accordance with the regulations governing African competitions.
