Al-Ittihad Decides the Future of Its Winger and Keeps Him with the Team Until 2027
Friday 05-12-2025
Al-Ittihad Club has completed the procedures to extend the contract of its winger Abdulrahman Al-Aboud, ensuring his continued presence in the first football team until 2027, according to the Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah."

The Al-Ittihad management confirmed that Al-Aboud will remain with the club before entering the free period next January, a stage that allows him to sign with any club without consulting his current team. This prompted the management to take early action to resolve his situation.

The Al-Ittihad management seeks to retain its influential local players, considering Al-Aboud's continued presence a necessary step to support the team's technical stability in the upcoming period.

Al-Aboud joined Al-Ittihad in the summer of 2019, coming from Al-Ettifaq, after progressing through its youth categories, and later became one of the key figures in the "Tigers" system.

The 30-year-old player represents a prominent alternative option in the right-wing position, and the coaching staff relies on him when there is a need to boost speed and offensive solutions.

Al-Aboud played 151 matches with Al-Ittihad in various competitions, during which he scored 13 goals and provided 22 assists, according to data from Transfermarkt.
