Belgian Yannick Ferreira, the former head coach of Zamalek SC, revealed the behind-the-scenes details of his dismissal from the white team's coaching position, stating that the manner in which he was let go was, in his words, inappropriate.

In a television interview, Ferreira said he was surprised to hear about his dismissal through journalists and WhatsApp messages, without any club official contacting him directly to inform him of the decision.

He added that Zamalek was going through difficult circumstances during his tenure, and that he did not receive his financial dues after leaving. He also pointed out that some people told him the club was experiencing one of the worst periods in its history.

The Belgian coach explained that he requested the Zamalek management to pay the remainder of his contract in full after his dismissal, but he did not receive any response, which prompted him to file an official complaint against the club with the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA).

According to press reports, Ferreira is demanding $440,000 in overdue payments owed to him by Zamalek.
