Tahir Mohamed Reveals the Behind-the-Scenes of His Crying and the Events of the Match Against Wydad AC
Tahir Mohamed Tahir, Al Ahly club player, revealed the behind-the-scenes of his crying while sitting on the bench during one of the league matches. He also talked about the crisis during the team's match against Wydad AC in the CAF Champions League, during his appearance on MBC Egypt 2 channel.
Tahir said that his tears on the bench during the match against Baladiyat El Mahalla were due to his strong desire to participate, explaining: "It was a relatively easy match and I felt it was an opportunity to score and gain a morale boost."
The Al Ahly player touched on the events witnessed during the match against Wydad AC, which ended in a 1-1 draw and saw tension between the players and fans throwing bottles. He denied the rumors about him being involved in an argument in French, saying: "If there was any insult... it would have been in Arabic," pointing out that he rushed towards Trezeguet after finding him surrounded by several Moroccan players, confirming that Wydad coach, Troussier, had prepared pre-planned scenarios for the match.
Tahir praised all the coaches he worked with at Al Ahly, but chose the duo Marcel Koller and Pitso Mosimane as the best coaches he has had during his career with the team, explaining: "Mosimane gave me the confidence to play in more than one position, while Koller taught me discipline and order on the field."
