Araújo Misses Barcelona Training Ahead of Atlético Match
Monday 01-12-2025
The Spanish newspaper "Sport" confirmed that Uruguayan defender Ronald Araújo will not participate with Barcelona in tomorrow's match against Atlético Madrid in the Spanish league at the Spotify Camp Nou stadium, due to ongoing mild pain related to his recent health condition.

The newspaper reported that Araújo arrived today at 10:15 AM Egypt time at the sports city, which is the designated time for injured players or those experiencing minor pain who will not participate in training, instead of 9:30 AM when the rest of the team was called for breakfast and preparation for the session.

On the other hand, goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen returned to training with the team after a back surgery, participating normally on the field with his teammates, regaining his form and confidence after a long absence.

The session also saw the participation of youth players Drew and Tommy, and it seems they will be included in the team's lineup for tomorrow's match, while Frenkie de Jong returned to training normally after missing the previous game due to personal reasons.
