Real Madrid fell into a draw trap against their host Girona with a score of 1-1 in the framework of the fourteenth round of the Spanish League, in the match held at the Montilivi Stadium.

 

Real Madrid raised their tally to 33 points and dropped to second place, one point behind Barcelona who lead the table, while Girona raised their tally to 12 points in eighteenth place.

Kylian Mbappe scored a goal for Real Madrid in the 40th minute but it was canceled due to a handball on Kylian, then Izdine Ounahi scored Girona’s goal in the 45th minute with a wonderful shot.

In the 65th minute, Vinicius Junior earned a penalty kick, which Kylian Mbappe took and scored the equalizer for the Royal team.
