The Argentine international star Lisandro Martinez has returned to play again with the English team Manchester United after a long absence due to a severe injury he suffered.

The distinguished central defender participated as a substitute for his teammate Luke Shaw in the 82nd minute of his team's match against the host Crystal Palace in the 13th round of the English Premier League.

Martinez's return after a 9-month absence came in a match that United managed to win 2-1, during a difficult period the team is going through, as it suffers from inconsistent results.

However, the return of the player with remarkable abilities and extensive experience will provide an important addition to Manchester United and to head coach Rúben Amorim in the upcoming period.
