Al-Khaleej Sets Rules for Hawsawi Negotiations Amid Interest from Al Hilal and Al Ittihad
Sunday 30-11-2025
The management of Al-Khaleej Saudi Club has decided to assign Dr. Sadiq Al-Huwaidi, the sports director, solely to handle the negotiations for Murad Hawsawi's transfer, to ensure the process proceeds in an organized and confidential manner with the interested clubs.

Al Hilal tops the list of clubs interested in signing Hawsawi, having submitted an official request to purchase his contract, while verbal negotiations are underway with Al Ittihad officials to explore the possibility of acquiring the player during the upcoming transfer window.

Al-Huwaidi manages the conversations with complete confidentiality, involving some board members such as Chairman Ahmed Khreida and CEO Ali Al-Mohsen, while the honorary member Mahmoud Al-Matrood plays a limited advisory role in this process.

The management has also decided to keep the financial ceiling open for the submitted offers, allowing them to negotiate the highest possible value before making any decision regarding Hawsawi's transfer to any team during the winter transfer window.

Al Khaleej management added that they will not rush to make a final decision, and may wait until next summer to review the financial offers and compare available opportunities to ensure the best financial outcome.

The Gulf management takes into account that about 40% of the deal's value will go to Ohod Club according to a previous agreement, making it crucial to aim for the highest possible amount to achieve significant financial benefit for the club.
