Media reports have indicated that Real Madrid will be without their defender Raúl Asensio in today's match against Girona, as part of the 14th round of the Spanish league.

According to the Spanish network "Kopee," the young defender has not yet recovered from the stomach and intestinal infection he is suffering from, which caused him to miss the team's last training session and led to his official exclusion from the match squad.

The network added that the Royal Club will also play the match without the services of David Alaba, Dani Carvajal, and Dean Henderson, who are still undergoing recovery from various injuries.

Despite these significant absences, Real Madrid has, on the other hand, regained several of its players, most notably Franco Mostacero, Antonio Rüdiger, and Éder Militão, which gives the coach important options in the defensive lines ahead of the tough match against Girona.
